Man seriously, I can’t think of the last time we’ve had a GOOD “who did it” film, can only name a few off the top of my head. Clue, Zodiac, Mystic River don’t forget the legendary Seven hoo hoo buddy... what’s in that box you have there hmmmm? This ranks right up there with them, it has a high energy with clever edits it’s shots are tight making things feel small and weird even though they are in a huge ass mansion for majority of the film. The writing and screenplay is astounding, we have so many serious actors on this roster and they all are just having a blast playing whacked out characters. Some actors just flat out break their typecasting mold by playing polar opposites than what they normally play, when you first hear Daniel Craig speak you will have a what the hell face like I did and then giggle in blind acceptance because he just pulls if off. Same with Chris Evans. The lead actress is so damn good, she seems to be the type that can just cry on cue because man does she go through some emotional rigor in this. The film score was perfect with that constant hint of curiosity or silence in more poignant parts. Very sleuth or Sherlock like. I don’t want to say too much about it, there are just so many details and information to digest but it all really comes together perfectly. Definitely check it out if you get the chance.
